Hello,

I just downloaded the new development build you guys released, but I am unable to install it. I get the error message "Impossible to Install".

Any ideas what could be happening? I'm using a N95 8G fully hacked, and the previous version still installs just fine.

Hello, this is well-known instsllation problem. I know workarround and I'll try to help you by writing detailed guide...

You could install the game with Russian telephone settings and then will change them to English.

For the begining you have to verify that your system date is approximately xx/08/2008.

There are following detailed steps will help you:

1. First of all you have to change your English telephone settings to Russian:
- Navigate to Tools -> Settings -> Phone -> General -> Phone Language.
- Select language "Русский".
- Message will appear: "Русский selected. Phone will restart. Continue?"
- Select "Yes".

2. After phone restarted you'll install AOM with Russian telephone settings:
- Run dm.SIS to install the game.
- Message will appear: "Установить Age of Magic?"
- Select "Yes".
- Message will appear: "Предупр. защиты:..."
- Select "Продолж."
- Message will appear: "Сведения:..."
- Select "Продолж."
- Message will appear: "Уст. дополнит. файл... Английский язык"
- Select "ОК".
- Dialogue will appear with selecting of memory to install the game.
- Select the appropriate one and then click "Выбрать".
- Message will appear "Age of Magic..."
- Select "ОК".
- You'll see installation progress bar.

3. After installation completed successfully you have to change your Phone settings back to English:
- Press "Menu" button on your phone.
- Navigate to Средства -> Настр-ки -> Телефон -> Общие -> Язык дисплея.
- Click "Функции".
- Click "Выбрать".
- Сhange it to "English".
- Message will appear for rebooting your phone - accept it.

4. After phone restarted you could find AOM icon in your "Applications".

Well Panic, you are right. If he don't have it, my workarround will not help him. So in this case he just will wait when installation defect will be fixed...

But before I tried your solution, I decided to try to install it again, but this time, instead of choosing english, I chose russian as the installation language.

With russian, the game installs and runs just fine, so I'm guessing the problem is that the english version is not implemented in this build - is this correct?

If I'm wrong then I can try with your method.

Not actual. English version is already implemented but problem is just in the installation part.

I think you tried already my method because you say "With russian, the game installs and runs just fine". So if you want to play in English - just try to change your system language to English and language of the game will change to it automatically. If I'm wrong, please let me know.

P.S. Tell me please, what localization you use usually? Brazil? Or maybe English?
And second (this is maybe very important for now)... Do you have Russian localization on your N95 8Gb? (Navigate to Menu -> Tools -> Settings -> Phone -> General -> Phone Language)

Wow it worked! You can hardly imagine how happy I am!

All I did was change my phone language to english (it was previously set to brazillian portuguese), and the game language changed automaticaly to english, even though I installed it with the russian language.

So I take it the game language is tied to the phone system idiom itself?

I would just make a request that, if possible, you guys can add an option in the game settings to select the language. It's not really a problem to have my phone in english at all (I'm even leaving it like that), but I'm thinking of other people who would prefer to use their native language.

Also, You can delete "x:/resourse/apps/dm.rsc" - it`s russian language. dm.r01 include only english language
